Time to get super! DC Universe comic darling Titans held a panel at DC FanDome on Saturday. Executive producer and scribe Greg Walker joined stars Brenton ThwaitesAnna DiopTeagan CroftRyan Potter, and Conor Leslie. The Titans panel also featured actors Alan RitchsonMinka KellyJoshua Orpin, and Damaris Lewis. So, what did we learn? As reported by Deadline, a slew of familiar faces are slated to appear on Titans Season Three!

Our protagonists are making a beeline for famed Gotham City in the third season, wherein they’ll meet Gotham City Police Department Commissioner Barbara Gordon. Additionally, our heroes will encounter Dr. Jonathan Crane a.k.a Scarecrow. But that’s not all! Another DC canon character will emerge — Red Hood! At the end of Season Two, the superheroes lost one of their own as Robin was forced to leave his family behind. Walker proceeded to expound on that:

‘A child that is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth.’ That child comes back in the form of Red Hood.

Actor Curran Walters, who plays Robin, will soon be shedding that garb and taking up the Red Hood mantle. The performer expressed his elation regarding the character change. Walker also divulged into Nightwing and Barbara Gordon’s working relationship in the impending season:

Now we have Nightwing and Barbara Gordon trying to deal with the mistakes of their parents and it’s turning out to be a lot more difficult than anybody else bought.

Now, we still have yet to find out the actors behind the slate of new roles. Regardless, I’m always excited to see well-known comic book characters get their time in the live-action spotlight. Here’s hoping Titans does well by them.
