DC FanDome is the gift that keeps on giving! Dwayne Johnson‘s upcoming flick Black Adam had a panel on Saturday for the 24-hour event. Johnson confirmed the appearance of a handful of DC canon characters for his superhero debut.
Now, Black Adam has been in development purgatory for a decade. Johnson is teaming up with his Seven Bucks producing partner Hiram Garcia to bring the movie to fruition.
So, who can we expect to see in the impending film? Why, Justice Society of America’s Hawkman, Dr. Fate, and Cyclone, of course! To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before‘s Noah Centineo was previously announced as Atom Smasher.

According to Deadline, the panel opened with Johnson providing narration to set the scene.
5,000 years ago, Kahndaq was a melting pot of magic and powers. Most of us had nothing except the chains around our necks. Kahndaq needed a hero; instead they got me. I did what needed to be done…and they imprisoned me for it. Now, 5000 years later, I’m free. And I give you my word…no one will ever stop me again.
The question of whether Black Adam will include an appearance from Henry Cavill‘s Superman is still hanging in the balance. Johnson revealed he’d love for the anti-hero to team up with Superman or Wonder Woman, but didn’t disclose whether either character would make a cameo in the film.
Next, Centineo joined Johnson for the panel. In fact, the actor was training for Atom Smasher that very moment. He delved a little into his character:
His grandfather was a villain, he’s got quite a spirit. He goes through this transformation in the film; he’s not expecting the world of a superhero.
Black Adam is set to premiere in 2021.
