On this week’s The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, “La Dame de Fer,” Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) is missing and Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Isabelle (Clémence Poésy) negotiate for his freedom, but is the cost too high?

Last week’s episode ended as Daryl fell through the roof at Montmartre. He landed in a body of water with walkers swimming to get to him. He kills a couple before climbing out of the water.

Daryl makes his way to Isabelle’s apartment as Genet (Anne Charrier) and Codron  (Romain Levi) continue their search for the American. At Montmartre, Codron questions Sonia (Sabine Pakora) about Daryl. Sonia says Daryl delivered Laurent to them. She says Laurent will save them. Genet is amused. She thinks Laurent gives people false hope and she wants to find the kid as well.

Daryl is lost and gets directions from the pigeon messenger, Antoine (Dominique Pinon). They run into the guerriers, who take Antoine’s pigeons. Antoine tries to get the pigeons back and the guerriers shoot him. Daryl jumps out and kills the guerriers. Antoine asks Daryl to release the pigeons before he dies. Daryl finds Isabelle’s apartment and she is very worried about Laurent. She searched all night and didn’t find him. Daryl thinks he knows where the kid went.

Anna (Lukerya Ilyashenko) tries to talk to Quinn (Adam Nagaitis) about truffles, but Quinn isn’t interested. She understands that Quinn’s attitude is about Isabelle. She says Isabelle is gone for good. Women need a reason to come back. And sometimes, women need a damn good reason to stay. One of Quinn’s guys tells him that the American got away but he’s still around. Something went down at Montmartre and now the guerriers are searching for both Daryl and Laurent.

Laurent is walking towards the Eiffel Tower. He pulls out the picture of his mother and smiles. He sees sandbags piled up near the tower. Laurent looks through a hole in the bags and a walker looks back at him. There are several walkers gathered under the tower. They start pushing at the sandbags and other parts of their boundaries, getting out to to get Laurent.

Daryl and Isabelle arrive as the walkers start to surround Laurent. They go to work, killing walkers while Laurent hides under a piece of sheet  metal. A walker finds him, but someone kills the thing before it can get Laurent. When that person pulls the sheet metal off of him, it’s not Daryl or Isabelle. Two men grab Laurent and put him in a car. The car drives away before Daryl can grab Laurent. One of the two men is eaten alive. Daryl and Isabelle take the other.

They take him to a basement and try to make him talk. He talks about Isabelle instead and rumors about how she was a party girl. Based on his answer, Isabelle knows Quinn has Laurent. And she’s right. Quinn has Laurent sitting in his office, talking. Laurent says he knows that Quinn is his father, despite what Isabelle told him. Quinn says he wants to make up for lost time. And soon Isabelle will join them.

Daryl ends up beating answers out of Quinn’s guy. The man says Quinn thinks he can use the boy to get what he wants … Isabelle. Daryl forces the guy to tell him how to get into Club Deminonde without encountering any guards.

Daryl and Isabelle meetup with Fallou (Eriq Ebanouey), Sylvie (Laïka Blanc-Francard) and others. The plan is for Fallou and his people to cause a distraction while Daryl breaks in. Daryl has Quinn’s guy with him so he know which way to go. Then they will meet Isabelle and Sylvie at the River where they will leave for the Nest.

Sylvie has grown close to a young man named Emile (Tristan Zanchi). She asks if he’s scared and he admits he is. She kisses him before they part ways. Isabelle says she needs to tell Daryl something. He asks her to wait until they get to the river. Isabelle and Sylvie walk to the river and Sylvie says she wants to stay in Paris and fight alongside Emile.

Genet and Codron visit Quinn who says he wants to negotiate for the American. He wants artwork from Japan. Genet agrees and asks about Laurent. Quinn lies and says he doesn’t have the boy but he will keep looking and leaves. Codron asks if Quinn will deliver. Genet says Quinn is a transactional man, but that doesn’t solve the problem of the boy. They can’t let the boy get out of Paris.

Anna told Quinn about Laurent’s fascination with the Eiffel Tower. That’s how he knew they’d find him there. She thought they’d get a reward, but instead Quinn is just trying to get Isabelle back. Quinn hands Anna a gun and tells her to go to the office and keep Laurent safe. Anna is angry that she has to babysit while Quinn looks for Daryl. Quinn says he doesn’t have to look. Daryl is coming to him.

Fallou and his people attack the subway entrance while Daryl and his prisoner enter the tunnels from another location. The prisoner tries to run from Daryl but gets injured. He tells Daryl how to get into the bar, thinking Daryl is going to take him along. Daryl leaves the guy behind as the walkers catch up.

Daryl makes it inside the bar as Quinn’s people rush to defend the club. He finds Laurent in the office with Anna. Anna points her gun at Daryl, but then tells them to go. They run into Quinn on the way out, setting up a fight with Daryl. Daryl wins the fight and knocks Quinn out. He leaves with Laurent.

Everyone meets at the river. The boat is there to take Laurent to the Nest. Fallou says Genet posted guards around the city limits. It will be hard for them to get out. Isabelle decides to stay with Quinn because he has influence in the city. His influence will help them get Laurent out of the city.

Daryl and Laurent don’t like it. Daryl tries to stay with her, but she asks him specifically to take Laurent to the Nest. Laurent begs Isabelle to go with them. She promises him that she will do everything to get back to him. She tells him to go with Daryl for now. Daryl and Laurent look at the Eiffel Tower as they sail away and Isabelle returns to the club and to Quinn.
