The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon announced five new cast series regulars today. Filming is currently underway in France and explores how Europe is handling their walking dead problem. Norman Reedus reprises his role as Daryl Dixon and now we’re learning a little bit more about his new friends.
Anne Charrier joins the cast as Genet; Eriq Ebanouey will portray Fallou; Laika Blanc Francard plays Sylvie; Romain Levi portrays Codron, and newcomer Louis Puech Scigliuzzi will play Laurent. They join previously announced cast members Clémence Poésy, as Isabelle. She is described as, “a member of a progressive religious group who joins forces with Daryl on a journey across France and finds herself confronting her dark past in Paris.” And Adam Nagaitis will play Quinn, a “displaced Brit who has become powerful in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black marketer and the owner of the Demimonde, a sexy underground nightclub, “according to Deadline.

Daryl’s story picks up after the The Walking Dead series finale. Daryl makes his way across the Atlantic, ending up in France. Here is the logline: “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon,” states that “Daryl washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”
David Zabel serves as executive producer and showrunner, with Scott M. Gimple, Angela Kang, Reedus, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, and Daniel Percival also executive producing.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will premiere later this year.
