Is there a life without The Witcher? Well if there is…I don’t want to live it. With all the news coming out regarding season two it has me searching for any bit of content I can get. Which is why I needed to share this amazing live play series from Hyper RPG. Our very own Emily Rose Jacobsen takes the reins as she guides players through Talsorian Games’ The Witcher Tabletop Role Playing Game.

She is joined at the table by fellow friends Naeem Stewart as Geralt of Rivia, Adriosa as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Alcuin Gersh as our favorite bard Jaskier, Kailey Bray as Marilka, and Saige Ryan as the Lion Club of Cintra, Princess Cirilla. The group set off across the Continent to face off against the dangers of both monsters and fellow humans. I’ll save all the spoilers from the show so you can be surprised, but I promise it is amazing. The cast really gets into character and Emily does a fantastic job guiding the story forward.

Each episode is filled with the combat, lore and emotional interactions we need. It originally aired on Hyper RPG’s Twitch channel, so some of the information such as tossing a coin to your witcher (ohh Emily) does nothing now. However it is still interesting to see how viewers are able to affect the outcome of the overall game. Hyper RPG does quite a few table top role playing game series that can be found on their YouTube channel as well as their Twitch.

If you are a fan of The Witcher Tabletop Role Playing Game, the easy mode which they play during the series is available on DriveThruRPG right now for free. If you want to dive into it head on without the easy mode, the full version of the game and physical copies can be purchased through Talsorian Games’ store. While the system is a bit similar to over table top role playing games, I would suggest picking up the easy mode at first just to familiarize yourself with it. After that, you can create any adventure you please within the realm of The Witcher, just be mindful of all the scary monsters.
