It seems like every day we are getting more and more news surrounding The Witcher season two. Today we learned that Dolittle star Carmel Laniado will be joining the cast from an exclusive with Deadline. We know that she will be apart of at least three episodes but maybe there will be a chance for more. She will be taking on the role of Violet, a young girl whose playful demeanor is only a cover for a smarter and terrifying individual.
It will be interested to see this type of character against Ciri (Freya Allan). During the first season, we were able to see her grow as she faced off against the world and an army on the hunt for her. Who knows, maybe she will be someone who interacts with Geralt (Henry Cavill) or even Yennefer (Anya Chalorta). Regardless, this is exciting news that Carmel Laniado has joined the cast.
Season two of The Witcher is set to begin filming this month in the UK and possibly Scotland as well. Hopefully things go smoothly and we get a quick turn around. But until then, let the speculation continue!
If you haven’t gotten a chance to watch season one of The Witcher, you can find it over on Netflix! Get going so you can jump right into season two when it airs!
