The Villain Era
Lady Parts are entering a new phase in their quest for world domination. Peacock released the official Season 2 trailer for the critically lauded comedy We Are Lady Parts. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to rock after watching this trailer.
Here’s a synopsis of Season 2 per Peacock:
“Season 2 of We Are Lady Parts sees the band return with a renewed artistic mission after the high of their first UK tour, only to find a rival band threatens their delicate status quo. As the reality of chasing success sets in, Lady Parts embarks on recording their first album, juggling personal ambitions and deciding whether ‘making it big’ is really what they want.”

Lady Parts, Assemble
The trailer shows our favorite punk band riding the high of their first tour. The next step? Craft a kickass debut album. Unfortunately, studios are expensive as an unsigned band. So, they decide to partake in a fashion shoot to make up for the cost. In this trailer, we also meet Second Wife, a rival band that uses Lady Parts’ music to climb the fame ladder.
The Cast
We Are Lady Parts stars Anjana Vasan, Sarah Kameela Impey, Juliette Motamed, Faith Omole, Lucie Shorthouse, Aiysha Hart, Zaqi Ismail and Shobu Kapoor. Guest stars this season include Malala Yousafzai and Meera Syal. The series hails from creator, writer, director and executive producer Nida Manzoor.

I’m so excited for Season 2. Based on what little music we heard in the trailer, I can already tell we’re getting a banging soundtrack. Bring it on.
We Are Lady Parts Season 2 premieres all six episodes on May 30, 2024, on Peacock in the US and Channel 4 in the UK.
