  • Netflix unveiled premiere dates for the sixth and final season of Cobra Kai, which will be broken into multiple parts.
  • Additionally, the streamer unleashed a slew of first-look photos (take a peek at them below).
  • To top it all off, Netflix debuted a date announcement teaser for its uber-popular karate series. You can watch it below.

The End of a Legacy Deserves a Grand Finale

“I love the smell of karate in the afternoon,” Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) declares in Netflix’s date announcement teaser for Cobra Kai Season 6. The streamer unleashed said teaser, eight first-look photos and premiere dates (yes, that’s plural) for one of its most popular shows as it takes a final bow.

Season 5

It’s been almost two years since Season 5, and The Karate Kid spin-off series brought that season’s conclusion to a fever pitch. John Kreese (Martin Kove) faked his death and escaped prison. Meanwhile, Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) was arrested.

However, the most exciting narrative thread left flapping in the SoCal breeze was the announcement of the Sekai Taikai. This famous karate tournament will see the best martial artists compete on the global stage. Naturally, Daniel and Johnny Lawrence’s (William Zabka) Miyagi-Do Karate plans to participate. At the same time, based on these first-look images, Kreese and Kim Da-Eun (Alicia Hannah-Kim) will spearhead their titular Cobra Kai.

In happier news, we learned that Johnny and Carmen Diaz (Vanessa Rubio) are expecting. Samantha LaRusso (Mary Mouser) and Tory Nichols (Peyton List) also mended fences, with the latter joining Miyagi-Do.

Season 6

The series stars Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Gianni DeCenzo, Courtney Henggeler, Vanessa Rubio, Dallas Dupree Young, Yuji Okumoto, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Griffin Santopietro and Oona O’Brien.
