Rural Wisconsin Is in for a Revival
Some secrets refuse to stay buried. Believe it or not, this also applies to people, in the case of one small town in Wisconsin.
SYFY has blessed us with the official trailer for Revival, its newest show based on the bestselling Image Comics series of the same name from Tim Seeley and Mike Norton. The network also shared the premiere date, and, thankfully, it’s slated to arrive sooner than you think.

About the Series
Here’s a synopsis for Revival per SYFY:
“On one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the “revived” appear and act just like they once were. When local Officer and single mother Dana Cypress (Melanie Scrofano) is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect. ”
The show stars Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David James Elliott and Andy McQueen. Rounding out the cast are series guest stars Steven Ogg, Phil Brooks (CM Punk), Gia Sandhu, Katherine King So, Maia Jae, Nathan Dales, Mark Little, Glen Gould, Lara Jean Chorostecki and Conrad Coates.
Revival hails from show co-creators, showrunners and executive producers Aaron B. Koontz and Luke Boyce. Scrofano also serves as an executive producer alongside Koontz and Boyce. It’s produced under the Blue Ice Pictures and Hemmings Films banners.

I’m a ride-or-die fan gal for Melanie Scrofano (forever our Wynonna Earp), so I’ll watch anything she’s in. The trailer presents an intriguing mystery, fun, campy SYFY graphics and what looks to be a damn entertaining story. Bring it on.
