As half-siren Mira strives for equality and faces challenges in gaining trust, the arrival of an aristocratic water dragon, Nami may destroy her plans. Amidst political intrigue and extremist threats, Mira and Nami must navigate conflicting loyalties and decide the fate of a city torn between progress and survival.

Eliza Chan’s new book release is an exciting debut. Melding East and Southeast Asian cultures with mythological creatures, Fathomfolk draws fantasy parallels with real-world issues.

The cover of Kindling has seven silhouetted figures against a full moon. They're surrounded by smoke and flames.

In a post-war world, magic is outlawed and kindlings, once elite warriors, are now relics. With violence plaguing the countryside, seven former kindlings must confront their past traumas to defend a threatened village. As they strive to reclaim their lost identities, the challenges they face may just cost them their lives.
