Minutes ago Star Wars unveiled the title for Episode 8 and it’s really exciting! Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the title of the film. They also debuted a poster of the logo to go with it, displaying a red outline where the yellow would typically be. What does this title mean for the saga going forward?
The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson with Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman producing. JJ Abrams is back in an executive producer role. There are so many things to discuss with this title but I would like to point out that it’s very interesting that they went with red instead of yellow for the title design. Not sure why that is but I’m sure all will be revealed in time.
We’re unsure if The Last Jedi refers to Luke Skywalker or Rey or both of them but let the speculation begin! The film is set to release on December 15th, 2017. Will you be going?
