The first half of Fear the Walking Dead season four flipped between the introduction of Morgan Jones (Lennie James) to the Fear family. And the events that changed everything for Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey), Victor Strand (Colman Domingo), and Luciana Galvez (Danay Garcia). The matriarch of Fear TWD Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) sacrificed herself to save the lives of her children. Shortly after, Nick Clark (Frank Dillane) died while seeking vengeance on those who caused Madison’s death. How does life go on?
The back half of the season will be a new adventure for all involved. Alicia, Strand and Luciana have a lot of healing to do. The loss of Madison and Nick will take its toll on them because Nick’s killer, is now a part of their group. Charlie (Alexa Nisenson) was saved by Morgan, who came from Virginia to escape people only to save people. He tried to help Nick divert his rage before Nick died. Can Morgan save Alicia?
Then there’s Naomi aka Laura aka June (Jenna Elfman) to deal with. We’ll just call her June. Did June have anything to do with the fall of stadium? She also as a protector in John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt). John is harmless, or so we think. There’s still a lot to learn about John. As well as Althea (Maggie Grace). She knows everyone else’s stories…what about her story?
The trailer also introduced four new cast members going into the back half of the season. Aaron Stanford (12 Monkeys), Mo Collins (Parks and Recreation), Stephen Henderson (Ladybird), Daryl “Chill” Mitchell (NCIS: New Orleans), and Tonya Pinkins (Gotham). We don’t know their character names yet, but from the trailer we can tell that Collins, Stanford and Mitchell are together. Luciana befriends Henderson. And Pinkins…well, she just might be the new big bad.
AMC posted the following sneak peek of episode nine, “People Like Us.” Morgan wants to help Alicia heal, but she says she doesn’t need help. She is coping by killing walkers that appear along a fence. They all have notes attached to their clothing. Morgan tells her that he’s heading back East and wants Alicia to go with him. Alicia isn’t really interested.
