5 Questions #2 with Jane D Everly

I’m so excited to have kick ass author and comic book lover, Jane D Everly, answer 5 very important questions.

Originally from Nottingham, England she’s relocated to beautiful Vancouver, BC to pursue her writing career. Jane began her career wanting to write romance novels but quickly figured out that her love of action and adventure would seep into her writing no matter what. Part one of her serialized romantic thriller, Havelock, was released June 1st and you can get it right here!

Here is the synopsis:

Eliana Havelock is a female with no past, whose determination to bring down a Karachi arms dealer catches the attention of the British Secret Intelligence Service. 1. What is your favorite food?

I’m a semi-health nut so I tend to drink a lot of shakes and eat a lot of salads for breakfast and lunch. However, I tend to splurge when it comes to dinners (hence the ‘semi’ part of being a health nut). If I had to choose one thing I’d have to say Indian food. Growing up in the UK, there’s literally an Indian take-away restaurant on every corner. Nothing better than sweet wine and spicy food! Although Vancouver has some amazing culturally diverse restaurants that I’m dying to try!

2. If you could live anywhere, where would it be? (any galaxy or planet fictional or otherwise)

In the TARDIS. I don’t even care who the Doctor is. Chances are I’d kick him out and steal the TARDIS for myself. Then would begin a rigorous selection process for who my companion(s) would be.

3. Who is you favorite superhero?

I suppose saying ‘all of them’ isn’t allowed? I’m an avid comic book reader so my tastes tend to differ from month to month. I currently have a certain fondness for Kitty Pryde. Her recent run in the Guardians of the Galaxy book made me fall in love with her. However, she’s also in a relationship with Peter Quill (Star-Lord), so at the same time, I also hate her for that. I always seem to return to Deadpool too, can’t wait to see Ryan Reynolds portray the merc with the mouth on the big screen! Oh! And John Constantine! (bring back the TV show you %@#’s!)

4. If you could make your own Lego set, what would it be?

We live in a golden age of Lego, people! I’m now the proud owner of the Ghostbusters Lego set! And multiple Star Wars sets. Yes, I’m a big kid. I’d love to see a James Bond Lego set, maybe the construction zone chase from Casino Royale?

5. Marry, F*** or Kill? Constantine, Indiana Jones, Captain Jack Sparrow?

I probably put far too much thought into this answer than I should have. I would kill Jack Sparrow because his level of hygiene is far too questionable for my liking. However, because I’m nice, I’d f*** John Constantine in exchange for him resurrecting Jack Sparrow. And then I’d marry Indy because a life of adventure would be fabulous. It was a toss up between Indy and Constantine. However, Constantine’s girlfriends all tend to die or get possessed by demons, and who has time for that?
