Pi Day, March 14, celebrates the irrational constant Pi. In the world of circles, Pi is the ratio of the diameter to the circumference; no matter the size of the circle, that ratio is always 3.14. Because Pi is one letter off from and is a homonym of “pie,” the day often includes many food and puns. Aside from eating pie, decking out for the day is a great way to celebrate.

Are you a math nerd or a teacher that needs ideas for dressing out for March 14th? Is there someone you know that you’d love to gift the joy of 3.14? We’ve scoured Etsy and have you covered!

Since we’re on the subject of teachers, why not make some Apple Pi cookies for your little one’s teacher? Or for a celebration at your office? You’ll need to find a recipe that holds up with a cookie cutter (like a sugar cookie recipe) but with an apple pie flavor boost! SignalsFromSpace has a beautiful custom printed cookie cutter just for the job! It creates a little apple cutout cookie with a symbol imprint. How adorable is that?

Though we tried to keep our list short and sweet, the gift options for the day are as endless as Pi.
