Zombieland 2 is starting production. The sequel will reunite the original cast of four main characters. And, to commemorate the launch of the second movie, the official Zombieland Twitter account posted their own #10yearchallenge by recreating the original poster. The new poster also just happens to confirm the sequel’s title.
Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin are all returning as a dysfunctional family of ragtag survivors fighting zombies all across our great country. Writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese have also come back to pen the second movie with Ruben Fletcher returning to direct. The gang’s all here! As Deadline reports, Zoey Deutch, Avan Jogia and Rosario Dawson will be joining the melee.

Zombieland: Double Tap will center on “the comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland. The zombie slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. Most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.” And we’re all in to watch every moment of it.
Here’s hoping for another surprise cameo! Could Bill Murray come back as an actual zombie? I know. I know. But, pretty please?
