Get ready guys, the new Scooby Doo film, Scoob! is breaking out the big guns to gear up fans for the upcoming reimagining of the Hanna-Barbera Universe. In the last trailer we were introduced to the backstory of the gang, killer robots and Shaggy and Scooby being beamed up to the base of the Blue Falcon. Don’t worry Scooby, we all thought it looked like Ikea too. The latest trailer released looks like they are ready to show off what’s to come after this movie hits theaters.

While one part of the gang is trying to uncover the mystery of their missing friends and their latest villain, Shaggy and Scooby are fangirling over the Blue Falcon and his beloved sidekick, Dynomutt. Fans of Hanna-Barbera will recognize them from their own cartoon from the 1970s, Dynomutt, Dog Wonder. These aren’t the only two who pop up, it looks like our main bad guy is Dick Dastardly. He first appeared in Wacky Races before getting his own show, Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines. Seeing him really makes me hope that Muttley gets to make an appearance, but are three dogs too many? No, I didn’t think so either.

Scoob! stars Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried, Gina Rodriguez and Will Forte as the voices of Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy. Frank Welker will, of course, reprise his role as Scooby Doo. Mark Wahlberg will be voicing Blue Falcon while Jason Isaacs is providing the voice for Dick Dastardly. The movie will also star Ken Jeong, Tracy Morgan, and Kiersey Clemons as more Hanna-Barbera characters. The film is directed by Tony Cervone and produced by Pam Coates and Allison Abbate.

The official Warner Bros Pictures summary: “SCOOB!” reveals how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc. Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global “dogpocalypse,” the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.

Scoob! will release in theaters on May 14, 2020.
