Jordan Peele is collecting an incredible group of actors for his reboot of The Twilight Zone. His newest acquisitions are two actors that have recently captured the world’s attention with their talent. Zazie Beetz and Betty Gabriel will be entering The Twilight Zone.
Beetz (Atlanta, Deadpool 2) will soon appear in the Joker solo film with Joaquin Phoenix. Gabriel terrified everyone forever in Get Out. You may have also seen her in Westworld and Counterpart with J.K. Simmons.
There is no word on exactly what roles the two women will play. But, according to Deadline on Friday, they “will appear in an early episode” of the series. So, we’ll find out sooner than later. The first two episodes of The Twilight Zone will be released on CBS All Access, April 1st. So we may see Beetz and Gabriel right out of the gate. The series will then air one episode a week, every Thursday, starting on April 11.
Gabriel and Beetz join a stellar cast including: Seth Rogen, Greg Kinnear, Kumail Nanjiani, John Cho, Ike Barinholtz, Taissa Farmiga, Ginnifer Goodwin, Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Adam Scott, Rhea Seehorn, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise, and Steven Yeun.
