You’re Not Welcome in New Trailer for THE LODGE

NEON never fails to disappoint when unveiling their latest movie for test audiences. This year, according to Bloody Disgusting, they scored “…one of the biggest horror acquisitions out of the Sundance Film Festival,” with the release of their latest horror flick, The Lodge. It follows the story of Grace (Riley Keough) as she tries to win over her soon-to-be step kids Mia (Lia McHugh) and Aidan (Jaeden Lieberher) who have shown obvious reluctance towards her.

Grace and her fiance Richard (Richard Armitage) decide to drive everyone up to a cozy lodge in a remote holiday village, hoping a vacation will help the kids warm up to her. And it actually works! But not before Richard has to leave and a brutal storm leaves Grace snowed in with the kids. If that wasn’t bad enough, something sinister makes itself known as strange things begin to happen: bumps in the night, items going missing, cryptic patterns in the snow.

Could these events have something to do with Grace’s mysterious past as a member of a religious cult? Or could it simply be a maleficent spirit that’s unhappy with the lodge’s new tenants? You be the judge, check out the trailer below!

A soon-to-be stepmom is snowed in with her fiancé’s two children at a remote holiday village. Just as relations begin to thaw between the trio, some strange and frightening events take place.

The Lodge will be in theaters this fall.
