The aptly named Deadpool 2 has brought us a new trailer. And this time we get a better look at the story and a slew of new characters and settings to oggle at. Of course, no Deadpool trailer is complete without a heaping of comedy, pretty much joke after joke. And as you can see from the title, we have a better look at the X-Force. It’s official! We have X-Force, everyone.
The trailer starts off by showing us a normal day in Wade Wilson’s (Ryan Reynolds) life. Running away from gangs with his taxi-driver friend Dopinder (Karan Soni), killing thugs in a stripclub while wearing heels, killing even more thugs in a casino, macking it with his girlfriend. But things change when Cable (Josh Brolin) appears. He’s after “the kid” (Julian Dennison). Who he is and for what reason Cable wants him, we don’t know. But Wade will be there to save him with some help from his friends – old and new. Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus are back with the X-Force! Including Domino (Zazie Beetz). And they’re gonna get their f**k on.

The trailer is filled to the brim with action and comedy. There will of course be dramatic beats, but it seems like the film will be like the predecessor – mostly jokes and gags. And you know what? That’s a-okay with us. I’m mostly looking forward to seeing what Cable’s story is. Just who is that kid and why is he so important? And does this mean we’re going to get a buddy-cop Deadpool/Cable film in the future? Because I’m really hoping so.
