First seen on CBR, it looks like all of our X-Files dreams are finally coming true once more. After nine years on air, two films and a thirteen year break, we’re finally getting another X-Files story! Mulder (Duchovny) and Scully (Anderson) are both slated to return, doing a six-part limited series on Fox.
Not much is known about the series, where it will go, what it will deal with or even when it will air — all we know is that production will start this summer.
In a press release, creator Chris Carter said, “I think of it as a 13-year commercial break…The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories.”
