Highlights

  • Tubi released a brief teaser trailer for Wynonna Earp: Vengeance, which you can watch below.
  • Said teaser ramps up anticipation for the 90-minute special’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
  • The special will air later this year.

“Here I Come”

She’s back, baby. Tubi has unleashed a first look at its highly anticipated 90-minute special, Wynonna Earp: Vengeance. This brief — and I mean brief — 18-second teaser trailer gives us a glimpse at our favorite posse of dipsh*ts in their element.

The teaser opens with a pair of killer neon yellow snakeskin boots walking toward what looks like a camper in the distance. Could this be the revenge-driven female villain who will serve as the Big Bad? Sure enough, after a shot of the familiar Purgatory sign, we see a closeup of an (unfamiliar) woman with blonde hair.

“Purgatory Hasn’t Lost Anyone in a Long Time”

After this, we see what looks like Mercedes (Dani Kind) with short, curly hair as she panics, running through the snow. Sheriff Nicole Haught (Katherine Barrell) also appears alert in the woods. Nedley (Greg Lawson) pops up with his arm in a sling, saying, “Purgatory hasn’t lost anyone in a long time.” It’s worth noting he’s in a cemetery. Doc (Tim Rozon) stands outside in the snow.

Waverly (Dom Provost-Chalkley), sporting a cute, short hairdo, turns from her research — she’s poring over some (presumably historical) texts. Jeremy (Varun Saranga), our Black Badge Division Director, also stands outside in the snow. Finally, our titular gunslinger, Wynonna (Melanie Scrofano), turns forward, saying, “Here I come.” She’s in a hotel room.

Wynonna Earp: Vengeance

Plot details for Wynonna Earp: Vengeance have, for the most part, been kept under wraps. We know some time has passed since the Wynonna Earp Season 4 finale. “Doc and Wynonna have been on an adventure, and Waverly and Nicole have been at home in [the Earp hometown of] Purgatory, doing their thing,” creator, showrunner, writer and executive producer Emily Andras told Vanity Fair in February of this year

The new special stars Melanie Scrofano, Tim Rozon, Dom Provost-Chalkley, Katherine Barrell, Varun Saranga, Greg Lawson and Dani Kind. Emily Andras penned the script, which Paolo Barzman directed.

Wynonna Earp: Vengeance will take San Diego Comic-Con by storm on July 27, 2024, at 1:45 pm PST in Room 6A, where the cast and crew will unveil more surprises for Earpers.

The special is slated to premiere on Tubi later this year. Before you go, check out the first teaser trailer below.
