Welcome Home, Wynonna Earp
They’re all in, Earpers. Emily Andras and the cast of Wynonna Earp: Vengeance visited SDCC 2024 for a panel chock full of Earpin’ goodness. For starters, we have a poster featuring our titular “crazy chick with a demon-killing gun” front and center, looking like a stone-cold badass. Secondly, the panel unveiled the official full-length trailer, which you can watch below.
Moderating the proceedings was castmember Dani Kind (Mercedes), who was joined by showrunner/executive producer/writer Emily Andras and stars Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna), Tim Rozon (Doc Holliday), Dom Provost-Chalkley (Waverly) and Katherine Barrell (Nicole Haught).

This Time, Evil Gets Earped
The Wynonna Earp: Vengeance trailer reveals the blonde woman from this week’s teaser is The Big Bad, and boy, does she want the Earp heir. A death brings Wynonna back to Purgatory, but naturally, we don’t know who that is. Said trailer also shows our gal and Doc in their element — kicking ass and taking names.
Based on the trailer, it looks like The Big Bad can shape-shift. We see her take on Mercedes and Nicole. At one point, she grabs Waverly’s face. Nedley (Greg Lawson) does doughnuts in his car. WayHaught teams up again to shoot guns. WynDoc stands on top of a train while battling baddies. Waverly (gasp) chokes Nicole. I’m guessing Waves might be possessed by whatever that evil entity is.
I have so many questions. Who is the enemy? Why are all the demons Wynonna has ever killed coming for her? Does Blondie have the power to summon them? Whose death could bring Wynonna back home? Whose trailer is that? Why is Nedley’s arm in a sling? Where’s Jeremy? (I know he was in the teaser, but still.) Is that the same black goo from Season 2?

We Ride at Dawn(ish)
One line from the trailer I loved? “It feels less like a reunion and more like a reboot,” says Nicole. “Well, I’d like to reboot this demon in her cooch.” Oh, Wyn. We love you. Nicole’s line feels like a cheeky wink to Earpers and hints at what’s to (potentially) come. Bring it on.
Wynonna Earp: Vengeance premieres this fall on Tubi. Before you go, check out the poster and official trailer below. What do you hope to see in this 90-minute special? Sound off in the comments, Earpers.
