Touch a bamboo shark and have some snacks. You can get all close to tiger sharks and whatnot too.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is a not for profit organization so, you know, support that thing!

“Movin’ right along” to another fun thing this weekend, this showing will be hosted by none other than Heather Henson and her IBEX puppetry group (they also do a Sing-Along with Labyrinth. Alas, none are currently scheduled).

The IBEX Puppetry Sing Along crew brings elements of the films to life for the audience via puppetry, kiting, shadow acting, bubbles, streamers, kites, confetti pops – the list goes on and on.

The theater is only a block from the Santa Anita Racetrack which by the way has a Family Fun Zone inside the track. A carnival for kids surrounded by racing horses. That’s pretty weird
