After months of waiting, we finally have an announcement on when we will be able to see the first Wonder Woman 1984 trailer. Thankfully we don’t have to wait too long since it will be released tomorrow, December 8, 2019! This new Wonder Woman film will takes place in the 80s, three decades after the events of the first film but still before she has teamed  with the rest of the heroes in Justice League. The teaser posted to the Wonder Woman twitter account shows a few clips of action shots mixed with views of the setting of the film. The teaser for the full trailer was enough to get me hyped!

The first official trailer will air during the Wonder Woman 1984 panel at CCXP 2019 featuring Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins. Fans not attending the event will be able to watch the panel live starting at 12:30pm PST (or 3:30pm EST) on the Twitter livestream. The trailer will release sometime during the stream, but no actual time has been announced. This first trailer will hopefully give us a clue to how the story is going to go. We do know that we will see the return of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. Though how he returns is still unknown. We will also hopefully get a chance to see the new villain Cheetah portrayed by Kristen Wiig and Max Lord played by Pedro Pascal in action as well during the trailer.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set to release in theaters on June 5, 2020.
