In an article today on Wired, Warner Bros. and DC Comics continue their viral campaign for their upcoming super-gigantic superhero film, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. This time, it’s in the form of a fake interview with the very young tech genius and billionaire, Lex Luthor, played by actor Jesse Eisenberg.

There’s really not much there in terms of giving away any plot or story points, but what it does very well is put us in the mindset where Lex Luthor finds himself at the beginning of Dawn of Justice. That position is mostly that the vigilantism of Batman is an outmoded product of a long-gone system and that super-powered characters like Superman are a threat to humanity; therefore, we need a new approach.

As he says in the interview, “What I want is to leave the planet in better shape for the next generation. To make the world and its children safer. I want it. And I bet you do too…”

His solution is to invest a couple billion into defense spending to develop new technologies to take on this otherworldly threat, as you can see in this fake infographic that they include in their profile.

This is possibly the best part of the interview as it has so many wonderful easter eggs scattered throughout it, including “Kord Industries” which is owned by Ted Kord who is the Blue Beetle, Queen Industries, which recognizes that Oliver Queen, a.k.a. The Green Arrow, is doing his best to turn over a new leaf, and that Wayne Enterprises is enigmatically spending millions on defense spending without having any actual military contracts.
