We got some pretty exciting news on the dungeons and dragons front today. Wizards of the Coast has officially announced the upcoming D&D Live 2019: The Descent which will take place in LA on May 17,18, and 19. Similar to last year’s award-winning Stream of Many Eyes, this will be an immersive entertainment experience to help players learn about the upcoming story line. The weekend will be full of sneak-peaks at upcoming products, musical performances, tons of unique giveaways and obviously tons of dice rolling.

On top of two full days of dungeons and dragons game play, we will also see two groups take on the new story line in front of a live audience. Players Matthew Lillard, Mica Burton, Anna Prosser, Patrick Rothfuss will join dungeon masters Chris Perkins, Jeremy Crawford, and Kate Welch as they help explore the new story line and show off some pretty awesome features. While we don’t know who else will be joining this amazing group, I have a few ideas. I would be thrilled to see Deborah Ann Woll get a chance to dungeon master again this year.
