Things were turned upside down last season on What We Do In the Shadows when Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) died on his 100th birthday. In “Reunited,” the vampire gang is back together a year later. What has changed? Not a lot …
Moments before he was set to leave for Europe, Laszlo (Matt Berry) found an infant with the face of Colin Robinson. He stayed behind because someone had to take care of the wee lad. He put Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) in a coffin to accompany Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) on her trip t London; leaving Nandor (Kayvan Novak) to travel alone.

The documentary crew returns to the house. Only Laszlo and Colin Robinson’s spawn are there. The house is in shambles. There’s a gas leak that no one can stop because Laszlo kills everyone who tries. The basement is flooded. And there are several crates and boxes in the foray for Nadja.
About the spawn … Laszlo calls him Boy because he believes the child is nothing like Colin Robinson, other than his looks. Laszlo wants to teach Boy to be the most interesting adult that ever lived.
Nadja, Nandor and Nadja Doll surprise Laszlo by coming home. Nadja was asked to join the Supreme Worldwide Vampiric Council but it was too challenging. She missed Laszlo terribly, but she’s also very angry with him for standing her up at the port.. Nandor ended up in Fresno and toured the place with a lovely family. He eventually made it to his home country, Al Quolindar.

They both have questions about Boy. Well, Nandor has questions. Nadja thinks a raccoon is the boy. They have questions about the house as well. Laszlo explains that he heard a knocking in the walls. He thought it was a pipe, but can’t find where it’s coming from. It’s actually coming from the crate that Guillermo was shipped in.
There’s something different about Guillermo. He’s decided to look out for number one. And he tries to leave the house but falls through the floor instead. Nandor saves him and tries to calm him down. The Vampire asks his familiar to be his best man at his wedding. Guillermo agrees and asks who the bride is. Nandor doesn’t know because he hasn’t chosen a bride yet.

Guillermo grows more concerned when he meets Boy. Laszlo lets Boy run around with a lit candle on his head so he can swim in the basement. Then Laszlo puts down a doggie bowl on the floor and fills it with Count Chocula cereal. He tells Boy to sit, stay and then eat.
Guillermo cannot let Boy live in that death trap of a house. And he is a best man now so he has duties to fulfill. But he is going to look out for himself first … after the wedding … and after he saves Boy.
Guillermo goes around fixing what he can but suggests they get a contractor to fix the rest of the house. Laszlo thinks they can learn everything they need to know by watching home improvement shows. Nadja says they need money to do any improvements. Coliin Robinson was in charge of the finances, but he’s dead. Laszlo has Colin Robinson’s ATM card, but he doesn’t know the pin. Guillermo asks Boy for the password. Boy starts spouting off numbers, but continues to say different numbers for 15 minutes.
Nadja thinks they open a Vampire nightclub. Nandor comes up with other ideas, but none of them are good. Nadja pitched the idea for a Vampire nightclub at the Supreme Worldwide Vampiric Council, but they turned her down. That’s the real reason she left. Now that she’s home, Nadja puts her foot down and raises her voice … loudly. They are opening a nightclub.
The group goes back to Vampire Council headquarters. Guillermo asks Nandor about his trip home. Nandor didn’t really like it. Nothing had changed and everyone was a vampire. Nadja is ready to get back to business and open the doors to the headquarters. The Guardian (Kristen Schaal) is there. She has been there all year waiting for them to come back. Nadja informs The Guardian that they are opening a nightclub. And there’s nothing anyone can do to stop her.
