FX announced What We Do In The Shadows will return for a season 3.  The funniest show on television, in my opinion, is currently in its second season on FX and FX on Hulu.  According to The Hollywood Reporter, the ratings for season two are higher than season one.

“We’re incredibly happy that critics and audiences are all in on Shadows,” said Nick Grad, president original programming at FX. “Week in and week out, the producers, writers and our amazing cast continue to make one of the funniest and best comedy series on TV.”

The series is a mockumentary following a group of vampires who live in Staten Island. Living on Staten Island is actually quite easy for the vampires and their familiar.  Even when bats are flying everywhere, none of the humans even bat an eye.

What We Do In The Shadows stars Kayvan Novak, Natasia Demetriou, Matt Berry, Mark Proksch and Harvey Guillén.   Based on the 2014 film of the same title, the series featured some notable guest stars.  Shadows creators Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement, who also starred in the film, reprised their roles in season one.  Season two guest stars include Craig Robinson and Mark Hamill.   The show is executive produced by Clement, Waititi and Paul Simms along with Scott Rudin, Garrett Basch, Eli Bush and Stefani Robinson

What We Do In The Shadows airs Wednesday nights on FX and Thursdays on FX on Hulu.
