Here’s a synopsis for Season 2 per Netflix:
“Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem.
Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery. Creator/showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return for the spine-tingling second season of Wednesday, alongside executive producer and director Tim Burton.”
The Cast and Crew
The new season stars Jenna Ortega, Steve Buscemi, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán, Hunter Doohan, Billie Piper, Isaac Ordonez, Victoria Dorobantu, Georgie Farmer, Moosa Mostafa, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah Taylor and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo. Guest stars include Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Jamie McShane, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, Fred Armisen and Christopher Lloyd. In addition to Burton, Paco Cabezas and Angela Robinson have helmed their respective episodes.

These Are a Few of Her Favorite Things
Sometimes, all a girl needs is a cache of weapons and various torture devices (and Thing). The teaser trailer opens with our eponymous Gothic queen going through TSA. She dumps out a myriad of stabby-stabby stuff. A TSA agent pulls Thing out of her backpack. However, what truly gives him pause is the bottle of sunscreen, which is undoubtedly more than three ounces. Uh-oh.
What transpires next is a tease of what’s to come, including glimpses of new characters like Buscemi’s Barry Dort, the new principal at Nevermore, and Lumley’s Grandmama. Pugsley also appears to be attending school alongside his sister.
Wednesday Season 2 will release in two parts, with Part 1 (Episodes 1-4) premiering on August 6 and Part 2 (Episodes 5-8) debuting on September 3, exclusively on Netflix. Season 1 is available to watch now. Before you go, check out the first-look photos and teaser trailer below.
