Dear X

Spooky season might have ended with Halloween, but it still lives on in our hearts. Our first series this week is Vanziun’s Dear X. The thriller WEBTOON follows award-winning actress Ajin, who is clearly at the top of her game. Just as she is about to announce some of her happiest news, her entire past is exposed. And it isn’t all glitz and glam. She made some tough and terrifying choices to get to the top, and now the world knows.

While we love the gore and thrill in the horror WEBTOON series, there is just something about psychological thrillers that keeps you on edge. Dear X is a rollercoaster of mystery, suspense and downright chills. Just as you start to think you have an idea of what is really going on – in comes another plot twist. And since the series is completed, you can spend your days uncovering the truth without having to wait for new updates.

Rotten

Our second series this week is Good Guy‘s Rotten. This thriller WEBTOON has someone who can see dead people. Another person who can – literally – smell evil. The search for their missing friend leads them and a stuntwoman on a wild search filled with mystery, lies, terrifying people and what seems to be a never-ending list of secrets. Can they survive the battle against evil? Or will it be all-consuming?

Similar to Dear X, Rotten is more of a psychological thriller that slips in some of those sweet jump-scares. The premise is interesting enough to get you into the first chapter, but what really carries it forward is the constant mystery and suspense. A good series will keep you guessing, but a great series will have you on the edge of your seat trying to use all that you know to piece the truth together.

Rotten is completed and can be read here!
