Good morning fellow Webtoon readers and welcome to this week’s installment of Saturday Morning Webtoons! This is where we shine a light on two Webtoons we are thoroughly enjoying. These stories have had us captivated chapter after chapter each week and we couldn’t pass up sharing them with you! So grab your favorite snacks, an electronic device and settle into these sensational stories.

Of Swamp & Sea
Some of my favorite spooky genre Webtoons actually live within the supernatural section—one of those being Jay Boulton and Laurel Boulton‘s Of Swamp & Sea. When a monster hunt gone wrong sets two strangers on the same path, they discover their involvement may be more than strictly professional. This world is more than a little dangerous and packed with beasts, dark magic and perilous circumstance. Everyone has their own secrets and truth is as murky as the waters of the deepest swamp.
Here at GGA, we sure do love our monster hunters and Jonah fits the bill! Not to mention Mercy is one hell of a fighter! Of Swamp & Sea is beautifully written and the art that helps bring it to life is superb. The moment Jonah and Mercy head into those woods after the mist wolf, I knew this was going to be good. It is an epic adventure mixed with a connection between two strangers that will pull at your heartstrings. The Webtoon series was only recently released, which means that it won’t take you long to get caught up!

Shard
Keeping with the supernatural theme, we have Echorise‘s Shard. Shay is a witch how has just been told she needs a virgin to complete a spell things get rough. She sets out in search of the ideal candidate. Shay thinks she has found the perfect candidate in Kieran. But it turns out she might be a bit wrong about him. With all the makings of the ideal sacrifice, this geologist might not be as innocent as she thought he was. While Shay focuses on getting this ritual done, a person from her past is in the demon world brewing their own evil plot.
Shard is one of my favorite witch/demon-themed Webtoon series. Shay is a rebellious witch on a mission and poor Kieran is along for the ride. I have sung the praises of Echorise’s work before when I highlighted The Croaking, but I can’t help but have to do it again. She is a fantastic artist and storyteller who spun a story filled with spooky vibes, mystery and suspense. Plus, she has a way of creating support characters that make you want to beg and plead for their own series. This is the perfect series to dive into for that spooky vibe weekend feel.
