Heartwired WEBTOON Original Series.

Who doesn’t love science fiction? This week’s picks are perfect for fans of the genre. First, we have Rod Hannah and Stratosmacca‘s Heartwired. It follows Cal, a human born on Mars. Only one of seven humans to be born on the red planet. He spends his life hoping to head to his parent’s home planet, but when something sinister begins to threaten his family and the place so many people now call home, he puts everything he wants aside to save them.

Like fantasy series, science fiction is packed with incredible world-building and adventure. Heartwired is no different. The series is already out of this world because it takes place on Mars, but the way Hannah and Stratosmacca bring their futuristic story to life is what is incredible. From the get-go, this is an adventure for the books, and since it is completed, we suggest spending the day binging this series. And when you are done, we highly recommend checking out their other WEBTOON, Blue Milk Special.

Gepetto

Gepetto WEBTOON Original Series.

Our second series continues the science fiction love. In Jewon Yeon’s Gepetto, a genius inventor leaves behind a mysterious inheritance. Hundreds of years later, after a war between humans and androids, neither side has found a way to survive entirely. The androids are dying off, and humans struggle to live in the post-apocalyptic world. However, one blue-eyed android left behind at the late professor’s estate could be the key to solving everyone’s problems.

The battle between humans and androids can be found throughout the science fiction genre. And while some might find the idea overused, we will never tire of it. Gepetto, which also mixes in elements of the Pinocchio, has an almost fantasy-science fiction feel to it. The series itself is more on the mature side and features a format that traditional comic readers can enjoy, making it a perfect transition series. And since it is complete, readers can either spend their time enjoying it or binge it in an afternoon.

Gepetto is completed and can be read here!
