We are just a few days away from the official release of WEBTOON and DC‘s next collaboration series, Red Hood: Outlaws. The series is the fourth in the collaboration, which includes Batman: Wayne Family Adventures, Vixen: NYC and Zatanna & The Ripper. Each WEBTOON series works to meld together the world of webcomics with the massive world of DC comics. The first three series have been well received, and personally, the upcoming series is the one we were most excited about.
Red Hood: Outlaws follows Red Hood, Artemis and Bizarro on their quest to go good. The choice isn’t theirs because who wants to be good? But rather a challenge from the Justice League to see if they have what it takes to fill the shoes of their goody two-shoed counterparts. Now, this band of misfits will face some of the greatest DC supervillains and heroes we have ever seen. But the real fight will be amongst themselves. Can they set aside their differences to prove they are as good as Batman, Wonderwoman and Superman?

WEBTOON and DC seem just as excited as us since they couldn’t help but drop some first-look images from the upcoming series. We don’t get the chance to see the team in action, but we do get our first look at Red Hood, Artemis and Bizarro. And I didn’t think that “Bizarro in a cowboy hat” was something on my must-see list, but it is now. While the other Batman series features a much lighter story (which sometimes breaks your heart), Red Hood: Outlaws seems to be leaning much more towards traditional comics. Darker, serious tones and action. Tons of action.
