In an article over on Hollywood Reporter, mixed in with a lot of other news, is a mention that Warner Bros. “seeking a female helmer for Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.”
Whom ever this director ends up being, they’d only be the second female (Lexi Daniel was the first with Punisher: War Zone) to direct a superhero film ever, which is as unfortunate as it sounds. Patty Jenkins was brought in to Thor 2: Dark World, but left a few months in due to creative differences.

With the eternal battle between DC/WB and Marvel/Disney being what it is, it can’t be long now before Marvel announces their own plans for a female led superhero helmed by a female director.

by the by, in a poll conducted by myself of a few of my friends, they all said that Punisher: War Zone was the best of the Punisher movies.
