Nathan Fillion just surprised the internet with what could be the greatest love letter to a video game I have ever seen. While an official Uncharted movie might be stuck in development hell, we at least get to see what Fillion thinks it should look like. The short film is directed by Allan Ungar and stars Nathan as our favorite sarcastic adventurer Nathan Drake. The short film is a 15 minute tribute that’s full of action, has an awesome fight scene, and has tons of wit from Nathan and fellow co-stars.

Uncharted is an action-adventure third person shooter game for the PS4. The first game was released back in 2007 and has had several installments released since. I am really hopeful that this might just be the kick in the rear that Uncharted needs to get the official movie done. Our favorite neighborhood Spider-Man, Tom Holland, has signed on to play Nathan Drake in Sony‘s adaptation, but now I’m not sure so sure I want him. I’d pay a pretty penny to watch two hours of Nathan Fillion’s portrayal of Nathan Drake. Fillion has proven time and time again that he has what it takes to fill these shoes and I am happy he got to, even if it is just for 15 minutes. You can watch the short film below and let us know what you think!
