Disney has finally announced the release date for their upcoming Marvel series WandaVision. While we were hoping it would swoop in just before 2020 came to a close, we are going to have to wait until 2021. But not too long! The series featuring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will kick off on Disney Plus on January 15. They shared the news on the Disney Plus Twitter along with a quick teaser. The teaser flashes between different model TVs much like how the series will bounce between different time eras.

Disney and Marvel have kept the plot details of the series under tightwraps. The events of WandaVision will take place after Avengers: Endgame despite the death of Vision in Avengers: Infinity War. Entertainment Weekly recently shared images giving us some hints about what awaits us. For one, Scarlett looks to be pregnant in one shot set in the 50s. We also get to see Kathryn Hahn‘s Agnes decked out in 50s and then 80s attire. Teyonah Parris will also be joining the series as the adult version of Monica Rambeau from Captain Marvel.
We only have a few more weeks until we can finally unpack this mysterious new series. Of course, it promises the charm we love from the golden age of sitcoms. Let us know in the comments below how excited you are!
