Marvel's WandaVision debuts on Disney+ in December 2020

White-picket fence suburbia is calling, and Wanda Maximoff and Vision have answered its siren song! The official WandaVision trailer debuted Sunday night during the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards. The Marvel series is set to stream later this year on Disney +.

Folks, this WandaVision trailer is a 1950s housewife’s dream. It’s rife with black and white sweeping imagery of Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) reveling in marital bliss. There’s even a laugh track playing in the background. Very reminiscent of I Love Lucy. Of course, there are some not-so blissful moments peppered throughout. Kathryn Hahn‘s character painfully reminds us that Vision is still very much dead. Which isn’t very nice, Kathryn Hahn!

Additionally, there are shots of our favorite super couple enjoying each other’s company through the decades that follow. Wanda sports her original Scarlet Witch costume from the comics. Oh, and there are shots of circling helicopters, bodies catapulting through the air, and Wanda utilizing her powers to keep the rosy vision of bliss intact.

WandaVision looks fantastic. While we don’t have an official release date, the Disney + Twitter account vowed we’d be blessed “soon.” For now, I’ll keep this trailer on a loop to slake my thirst for more Marvel content. Since The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki have been delayed till, presumably, next year, this is all we have. This is all we have, Marvel!

WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn, Kat DenningsRandall Park, and Teyonah Parris. The nine-episode miniseries will premiere December 2020, only on Disney +.
