“Life could be perfect when it’s made just for you.” Brace yourselves, Marvel fans. The mid-season trailer for Disney Plus’ WandaVision is here! We’ve also got a brand spankin’ new poster courtesy of Marvel Studios!
Now, if you’re not caught up with Westview’s favorite couple, then you may want to stop reading here.
WandaVision‘s mid-season trailer delves into Wanda’s (Elizabeth Olsen) alternate reality as it’s beginning to fray at the seams. There have been intermittent moments of slight disruption since episode one. But in said trailer, the walls of Wanda and Vision’s (Paul Bettany) house are deconstructing before our very eyes. Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) was expelled from Westview and is being monitored by S.W.O.R.D. Meanwhile, Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) and Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) are surveying Wanda’s carefully crafted realm, which has taken the form of an American sitcom.

At one point, we see Vision donning his comic book costume for what looks like Westview’s Halloween celebration. His curiosity is piqued regarding the world outside Westview’s town limits. Of course, we know that S.W.O.R.D. is beyond the energy field surrounding Westview, a place that doesn’t actually exist. There are shots wherein Wanda’s armed with her powers and ready to attack. Agnes (Kathryn Hahn) asks Wanda if she wants to “take it from the top” during a scene from the 1980s-era episode. Wanda herself admits that she doesn’t know how it all started, and she attributes it to a “case of the Mondays.”
Lastly, the trailer ends with a moment we’ve already seen — Wanda revealing her pregnancy. Darcy is tearing up as she watches the happy announcement unfold on a vintage television set. Jimmy asks her if she’s crying. She admits that she’s invested. Let’s face it: we all are.
You can watch the mid-season trailer and check out the warped new poster below. WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Teyonah Parris, Randall Park, Kat Dennings and Kathryn Hahn. New episodes are available Fridays, only on Disney Plus.
