Villian with a Crush
Valentine’s Day may have passed, but a romance WEBTOON series is always in our hearts. The first one this week is Seyoon‘s Villain with a Crush. After being dumped by her first crush, Rosa Park falls for another when Doryeong Han, the Superpowered Police Officer, rescues her from splattering on the pavement. Of course, he is too busy saving lives as the world of superheroes and villains grows. Years later, a mysterious villain, Blackdog, arrives on the scene and sparks fly between the two. But can the world’s worst villain ever win the heart of the strongest hero?
Villain with a Crush mixes two of our favorite genres, superhero and romance. This series gives us My Hero Academia vibes, making it a great transition WEBTOON for those looking to dive in. The series has action, mystery, suspense, romance and comedy waiting to lure you in. Our favorite part of the series is the banter between characters. There is seriously something to enjoy, from the romance to the chatter between the officers. Jump in early and spend the rest of February binging this romance.

Only Hope
Our second romance WEBTOON this week is CHOSNG and Gaeng’s Only Hope. The story follows Eunhye Ju and Dojin Nam’s perfect marriage. That is until she uncovers the mysterious hidden basement and a boatload of dark secrets that put her marriage and life at risk. To top things off, one night, her house catches fire, and a mysterious masked man kills her. Except things are over for Eunhye. She reawakes nine years in the past on the day she meets her soon-to-be husband. Can she uncover his secrets fast enough?
We love romance and superheroes, but we also love romance and suspense. And talk about suspense with Only Hope. The mystery starts in chapter one and keeps you returning every week. Forget all the coins you saved – it’s time to binge. When we started the series, we thought it would be more romance-drama. We did not expect to be entirely thrown into the flames of outright suspense. Even the art lends to building anticipation as you scroll. This is a great read, but just be mindful that it is more on the adult side of WEBTOON.
