Resident Evil 2

Over the last several years, Capcom has worked hard to revamp and rerelease titles from its most iconic franchise, Resident Evil. As they continue to move forward, it has been a goal to make these titles available on multiple platforms. Now, we are seeing one of our favorite titles in the franchise, Resident Evil 2, make the jump to iOS devices. The story stays the same: Leon and Claire find themselves in Raccoon City as the city is engulfed by a zombie apocalypse. We are curious to see just how well this title plays on phones and tablets.

Resident Evil 2 drops on December 31, 2024, for iOS products. Please note, the trailer below is the original story trailer and the graphics will differ on iOS products.

Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop

Navigate the stars and crashland at the titular Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop for all your roguelite spaceship repair simulation needs. On an asteroid-bound service station in an unfrequented space lane, Wilbur carves out a paltry living as a mechanic, repairing as many ships as possible to afford the ever-rising R.E.N.T payments to his corporate overlord. Where most of his customers find meaning in pastimes like worshipping deranged space gods, feeding random crap to a sentient black hole, endlessly digging for The Treasure™ or mentally enslaving donut shop workers, Wilbur lives a more humble life, fixing the galaxy’s ills one broken ship module at a time.

WARNING: Untested genre not suitable for people with tentacles for arms or an aversion to dying horrifically. Side effects include improved reading comprehension under pressure and a new appreciation for furry art. We’ve had this quirky, bizarre adventure by Beard Envy on our radar for a few years, so a swift release is welcome.

Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop is available on December 5, 2024, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X and Series S.
