Just a few weeks shy of Sony’s release of Venom: Let There Be Carnage we are getting a new poster to help build up the hype. The second installment to this franchise sees the return of Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson. Andy Serkis is taking over as director for the second film as well. Between the trailers and this new poster, we can’t help but be excited for release day!

Venom: Let There Be Carnage picks up a year after the events of the first film as Eddie (Hardy) is trying to find balance with Venom, the alien symbiote now living within him. He is continuing his life as a journalist and trying to keep Venom’s munchies at bay. When Cletus Kasady (Harrelson) reaches out to give Eddie information on his victims, things start to take a twist. On his execution day, Kasady turns into Carnage and runs rampant in the prison and escapes.

The brand new poster features the four main players in Venom: Let There Be Carnage including Hardy, Harrelson, Michelle Williams and Naomie Harris. We also get another full look at Carnage himself. We really can’t wait to dive into this second film and see where they are going to continue to take this story. I am also interested in finding out if they are going to eventually link it to other franchises or if the MCU will find a way to bring it in some way.
