It takes a lot to be on the Hollywood A-list these days. Sometimes, it can take years for up-and-coming actors to hone their craft and land a place in the big leagues. A crop of young actors in Hollywood are reminiscent of the ’80s Brat Pack stars as they often appear in projects with each other. However, they stand on their own two feet with their remarkable individual talent.

Many fans and critics think the age of the Hollywood movie star is over. Comic book characters have replaced it as the selling point. This group of newcomers proves there’s a wealth of talent who can carry the next generation of movies. From scream queens to edgy leading men, Hollywood boasts stars of the present and future.

If it wasn’t for Barry Keoghan prancing through a stately home in his birthday suit to Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s early 2000s hit “Murder On The Dancefloor,” we might not have appreciated this underrated hit again. That would’ve been a travesty. Saltburn was a massive hit for Keoghan in 2023. However, he’s been rising the Hollywood ranks for a few years, with brilliant performances in The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Dunkirk and Eternals
