Chances are if you have ever read a webcomic, you have seen the ads for Manta Comics‘ hit series, Under the Oak Tree. The webcomic is adapted by Namu and Seomal from Kim Suji’s best-selling novel of the same name. It has been a driving force for the platform and is one of its most popular series. And who wouldn’t fall in love with Sir Riftan and Lady Maximilian’s love story?
Under the Oak Tree follows the stuttering Lady Maximilian who marries the quiet and reserved Sir Riftan. The day after their wedding he heads off to war and spends three years away from Max. So, of course, she thinks he has no interest in her and is going to take a new bride with his newfound fame. What she didn’t expect was for him to return and want to spend the rest of his life protecting and cherishing her.

It’s a romance for the ages that will have you swooning throughout every chapter. And just recently, Under the Oak Tree finished up its second season. Like all webcomic fans out there – we have been waiting for when season three will hit Manta. And the wait is almost over. Season three will be hitting the platform starting July 21, 2023. This means readers have a few weeks to get caught up on Rif and Max’s love story before the drama begins.
