UNBREAKABLE is Getting a Sequel So Says Shyamalan

Unbreakable fans have been itching for a sequel since it’s release over 17 years ago. Revealed in a series of tweets, M. Night Shyamalan dropped a bomb on those anticipating fans waiting years and years for the news. He will be making a sequel to Unbreakable. Riding high on his last success, the director is giving the people what they want.

According to Shyamalan himself, he will be releasing the project with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions. The film will also be a sequel to his latest film Split, that’s ending gave way to this project coming to fruition. Those who have not seen the movie are encouraged to see Split as it will tie the newly dubbed trilogy together. I won’t say why they’re connected or give any spoilers but see it!

He was also able to tell fans the main cast of the film. Bruce Willis would be back as the unbreakable David Dunn. Samuel L. Jackson would be back as Elijah Price. James McAvoy will be returning to his multifaceted role as Kevin with Anya Taylor-Joy back as Casey Cooke. The topping of it all? We have a title and release date! Glass will be out January 18th, 2019. The countdown begins!
