Twisted Metal
Peacock released an official teaser trailer for Twisted Metal Season 2. Twisted Metal is an action series based on a video game franchise of the same name. The series follows John Doe, a post-apocalyptic delivery man who tries to survive the anything-goes landscape with the help of his beloved ride, Evelyn. Twisted Metal is an action-packed adrenaline rush featuring fast cars, big guns, and fan-favorite characters from the franchise, like Sweet Tooth (Joe Seanoa/Will Arnett).

The Season 2 Trailer Features Nitro, Napalm and More
The season 2 trailer opens with John Doe (Anthony Mackie) explaining that he had a pretty routine life on the road up until a year ago. This “routine life” includes a life-or-death car chase filled with explosions galore. Pretty standard stuff until he met a drifter named Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) and fell in love. Along the way, they even picked up the demented clown, Sweet Tooth, riding in his iconic ice cream truck and rocking the flaming head look.
However, the joyride is over because Calypso’s tournament is coming up and it is kill or be killed. John will have to end every other driver if he wants to survive the deadly tournament. Fans get to see several new drivers getting ready for the dangerous derby along with some familiar faces like Stu (Mike Mitchell).
Calypso (Anthony Carrigan) also makes his first full appearance as he invites victims, I mean drivers, to compete. As a last little teaser, an arm with a mechanical hand loads into a huge tire which Twisted Metal fans will recognize as Axel. The entire trailer is filled with nitrous and napalm, making it clear that the second season will be just as wild as the first.

Additionally, the appearance of Dollface hints that we will learn more about John’s past. As for the future, will John and Quiet be able to survive the onslaught to achieve their dream life? If so, can they trust those in charge to deliver the goods?
