Adventure strikes again! On Saturday, September 24, TUDUM 2022, Netflix’s streaming showcase, kicked off the festivities with the official trailer for Enola Holmes 2. Enola Holmes herself, Millie Bobby Brown, unveiled said trailer for the highly anticipated Enola Holmes sequel for eager fans.

Besides Brown, the remainder of the cast includes Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury, Susan Wokoma as Edith and Adeel Akhtar as Lestrade. In addition, Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Mira Troy and David Thewlis in an unknown role round out the cast.

In the trailer, the plucky Enola opens her own detective agency, rivaling her famous brother’s establishment. Of course, she endures her share of misogyny and sexism as a predominantly male potential client base files in to criticize Enola for not being Sherlock.

We get action sequences aplenty in this trailer, with Enola kicking all the ass while evading the authorities. There’s a delightful rivalry sparking between Enola and Sherlock, as the latter isn’t the only brilliant mind solving mysteries in town.

The Enola Holmes 2 trailer also showcases our leading lady’s fun fourth-wall breaks with its whimsical humor and panache. Lots and lots of panache.

Before you go, check out the trailer below and read the official synopsis per Netflix Media

“Fresh off the triumph of solving her first case, Enola Holmes follows in the footsteps of her famous brother, Sherlock, and opens her own agency — only to find that life as a female detective-for-hire isn’t as easy as it seems. Resigned to accepting the cold realities of adulthood, she is about to close shop when a penniless matchstick girl offers Enola her first official job: to find her missing sister.

But this case proves to be far more puzzling than expected, as Enola is thrown into a dangerous new world — from London’s sinister factories and colorful music halls, to the highest echelons of society and 221B Baker Street itself. As the sparks of a deadly conspiracy ignite, Enola must call upon the help of friends — and Sherlock himself — to unravel her mystery. The game, it seems, has found its feet again!”

Enola Holmes 2 debuts on November 4, 2022, only on Netflix.
