Written and directed by Nick Zeig-Owens, the film offers a closer look into the superstar’s life following her All Stars win. But fame is not all it’s cracked up to be! The Tribeca Festival website teases: “With razor-sharp wit and authentic country music chops, Trixie Mattel charmed audiences and judges as winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. But the grind of performing and the pressure of the title proves that heavy is the head that wears the tiara.” The screening will be followed up by an on-stage appearance from Trixie who will probably be performing songs from her latest albums Two Birds and One Stone.

RuPaul fans can rejoice at the fact Trixie won’t be the only Drag Race winner featured at the festival! Joining Mattel is fellow All Stars winner Alaska Thunderfuck 5000 who will be appearing in a documentary called Circus of Books, a film all about a real-life family-run gay porn shop in Los Angeles.

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival will take place from April 24th to May 5th in New York City. Make sure you reserve yourself a spot, honey! Tickets go on sale March 26th and will be available at the festival’s website
