Trailer for the Next Episode of VIKINGS: To The Gates

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!!!

So far on  Vikings Season 3, The History Channel has taken a Game of Thrones / Walking Dead approach. They are killing our favorite characters! We lost Siggy to the Wanderer who Floki thinks was Odin. And now super religious Floki  killed his most hated Christian Kattegat resident, Athelstan as a sacrifice to the Gods.  Athelstan was our favorite Christian monk turned Viking Slave turned believer of Norse Gods turned born-again Christian and now he’s gone! How could you Floki!?!?

Well both Lothbrok boys are mourning. Rolo for Siggy and Ragnar for Athelstan. Ragnar, in what can only be a revenge ploy, has put Floki in charge of the raid on Paris. Floki built some awesome seige towers but will he be able to lead an army?

We met Emperor Charles who seems to be super weak of will. His daughter Princess Gisla seems to be running the show from behind the scenes.

In the above preview, it looks like raiding Paris wasn’t as easy Ragnar and crew first thought and Floki may be getting punished for his hubris.
