You may have turned off the TV already when it happened. You may have given up on the big game or accepted the fate that had played out. But, if you did, you missed it. Toy Story 4 has a new teaser trailer and it has given us new information to consider.
The teaser opens on a small town carnival. Woody (Tom Hanks) and the new and improved Bo (Annie Potts) have lost Buzz (Tim Allen) in their unfamiliar, though festive, surroundings. Buzz, it turns out, has been nabbed as top prize for a carnival game. But, he’s not welcome. A couple of toys, aptly named Ducky (Keegan-Michael Key) and Bunny (Jordan Peele), don’t take kindly to being replaced. Of course, hilarity… and violence ensues.

It’s a funny little window into the new movie. But it also gives us an idea of where we will find the characters that we’ve come to love. This looks to be a Disney-Pixar Toy Story road movie. We couldn’t be more excited about that! Just check out the description. Deadline reported it on Sunday.
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (voice of Tony Hale), declares himself as “trash” and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep. After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. As Woody and Bo realize they’re worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, they soon come to find that’s the least of their worries.
Toy Story 4 will find itself in theaters starting June 21!
