5. Total War: Three Kingdoms

The 20th entry in the popular series of strategy game, which is a hybrid of real-time strategy and turn-based games, will take you to the ancient China when the Han dynasty falls dividing the empire into 3 rival kingdoms. 6. Age of Wonders: Planetfall

A spin-off of the legendary turn-based strategy game series takes us to a sci-fi world where we have to pull a galactic empire out of its stagnation and help it see better times. The gameplay is, however, similar to that of previous releases. You develop cities, establish colonies, work on new technologies, build relationships with conflicting sides or wage wars of conquest. The game developers provided players with thrilling 3D visuals, detailed graphics, destruction experience and better tactical options in equipment modification.

7. Tropico 6

In a new installment in the popular economy strategy game series, you’ll become El Presidente, a ruler of a banana republic located across tropical islands. The gameplay didn’t change much. However, the new features of the installment make the game more exciting. Now, to manage multiple islands all at the same time, you’ll need to develop advanced transportation options such as tunnels, bridges, and aerial cable cars in order to join the locations. Your major task is to ensure your citizens are satisfied and enjoy a high standard of life.
